Geek Revolution Radio #145 – Directors We Love: Kevin Smith
It all started with two hooligans hangout out in front of a dingy convenient store in Jersey. In this weeks episode we talk about one of our favorite directors, and all around inspiration, Kevin Smith. From Clerks to Yoga Hosers, we talk about how funny this guy is and how much of an impact he has had in film… and especially in pod-casting.
To start off the show, Will and Ryan discussed “Pokemon Go” a little more, including all the hate the game has received from outsiders. Will gave his review of the game, coming in as a non-Pokemon fan.
Will also gave a review of the new Netflix show “Stranger Things”, a horror/suspense show set in the 80s. This show definitely gives a nod to the king of horror, Stephen King, and is a thrill ride throughout.
Ryan finally saw “The Revenant” and gave a review of the suspenseful film.
